ZuRecht - The police in an open society

The project examines the transformation of the German police, especially with regard to their personnel and training policy since 1990.

Against the background of a pluralizing society, the access to the police service as well as the social-cultural competencies in the police are determined empirically as well as in terms of legal and democratic theory as well as organizational sociology.
